Corey Elmore RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Corey began his career as an English as a Second Language teacher, teaching English to adults after graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with a degree in Spanish, French and Italian. He loved connecting with others and helping them to pursue their goals through the spoken word. Corey decided to further his education and pursue a career in massage therapy where he sought a more hands-on approach to helping and connecting with others. Studying at Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy, Corey gained a very clinical education with in-depth knowledge in anatomy and physiology and a true appreciation for the benefits that massage therapy can provide.
As a massage therapist, Corey listens to body language and pays close attention to the way our bodies and tissues alike, are affected by the stresses of daily life. Corey is naturally inclined toward deeper work but is open to working with any and all patients. Corey also enjoys providing a sports massage focus.
Corey lost a great deal of his vision at a young age leaving him visually impaired, but he does not let this stop him from pursuing his hobbies, competing in horseback-riding (specifically Dressage), cooking up food for friends and family and running around town with his dog.
Corey is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario (RMTAO)
