Corinne Bright RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
A background in the performing arts and outdoor recreation has given Corinne insight into the expressive potential of the human body, especially within posture, balance, breath, and voice. She has practiced resistance training and Bishnu Ghosh yoga for most of her adult life, and is a certified hike leader with Hike Ontario. These pursuits have helped instill in Corinne a holistic approach to wellbeing that honours both body and mind.
Corinne is a registered member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), and a certified sports massage therapist candidate and member of the Canadian Sports Massage Therapists Association. She is set to begin fitness consulting as a CanFitPro personal trainer in March 2019, with her focus set on resistance training and the over-fifty demographic.
Corinne looks forward to collaborating on treatment plans with anyone experiencing chronic or acute aches, pains, or restriction. She uses specialized soft tissue and joint techniques to address a range of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular issues including but not limited to: stress, repetitive strain, “pulls”, low back pain, mobility, limited range of motion, posture, TMJ issues, body awareness, and headaches. Sleep quality and general relaxation also benefit from her blend of Swedish and Lomi modalities.
Corinne’s pastimes include creative pursuits, keeping fit, and supporting Toronto’s live music and theatre scenes. She is currently enrolled in Health and Sociology studies at the University of Toronto.
