Registered Massage Therapy
Services Offered: Registered Massage Therapy
Kaila began her post-secondary education at the University of Guelph taking Women and Gender Studies, and has a background in anti-violence advocacy work. She entered her bodywork career at Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic after experiencing the positive effects that massage can have on both the body and mind. Her approach to bodywork is with an anti-oppression framework and a particular interest in women’s and LGBT healthcare. Her clinical experience while in school included working with breast and chest scar tissue, and working with those living with HIV. She offers massage therapy sessions that treat the body as a whole while focusing on particular areas of tension or injury.
Kaila is a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO).
